The modern card suits have gone through a long journey of changes and evolving. They were first used in Italy and Spain then they were developed by suit makers in Germany by nature-oriented makers. It went to France where they made stencils to reduce the cost of production, and at the end, it was modified in England to take the shape that is known now.
The suit cards are the four different categories of playing cards; a special symbol represents each category. Each category is printed in both black and red colors. The symbols are heart, spade, diamond, and club.
