What is Interactive Investor and how it works

Generally speaking, Interactive Investor International was initially founded in 1994 by Sherry Coutu. It was funded by angel investors John Cooper and Richard Caruso and the venture capital company, known as Arts Alliance. The interactive investor is an online investment service based in the United Kingdom. The service is particularly based in Manchester, with branches in Leeds and London. It offers investment tools, as well as financial information. It is the United Kingdom’s one of the biggest flat-fee investment service platform, with around £36 billion of assets right under administration, with more than 300,000 customers and over one million users.

With the Interactive Investor company's direct-to-customer trading and investing service, investors are enabled to trade and manage funds, shares, investment trusts and bonds through trading accounts, SIPPs, and ISAs. The service also provides CFDs and spread betting accounts, together with extensive (Level 2) market data.

The Interactive Investor’s services are supported and managed by portfolio-tracking tools, the Super 60, investment filters, and ACE 30 lists of rated investments and a wide selection of ready-made investment options. It also consists of specialist, impartial news and research from its editorial personal and team finance magazines, Money Observer, and Moneywise. In July 2020 the owners of the Interactive Investor announced that the August 2020 editions of Money Observer and Moneywise would be the last and that the magazines would cease their publication.
