How to activate your own Epic Games account?

For Activating Epic Games account you need to log in first by using the official web page www epic games com /account. Once you open the web page www epic games com /account it will require you to provide your email address and password which you have used for sign up. After that, a pop-up window will appear which will enable you to log in.

You may also activate your product key Epic Games via the app. Here is how you do it:

1. Download and run your Epic Games app.
2. Press on your account name right on the bottom left.
3. Click on the “Redeem Code” button.
4. A new page will show up. Enter key and press "REDEEM".

How to cancel a request to delete an Epic Games account?

If you want to cancel the account deletion request, you should follow the steps below:

Step 1 – At first you need to try to log in to your Epic account by the web page: www epic games com /account.

Step 2 –After you enter your email address and password, there will appear a pop-up window.

Note: If this pop-up window does not appear, then it means that your request to delete your Epic Games account has been completed already. In any case, if you change your mind you should know that you can use your Epic Games account again.

Step 3 – To cancel your account deletion request, you need to press the REACTIVATE ACCOUNT button.

How to delete your Epic Games account

Step 1 –The first thing to do is to log into your Epic account by using the official web page: www epic games com /account.

Step 2 –After you log in, there will display a GENERAL INFO page. You need toscroll to the DELETE ACCOUNT section and press the REQUEST ACCOUNT DELETE button.

Step 3 – Once you click the REQUEST ACCOUNT DELETE there will appear an “Enter Security Code” pop-up window.

Step 4 – Then you should enter the security code sent to the email address which you have used for your Epic Games account.

Step 5 – Next thing to do is to press the CONFIRM DELETE REQUEST inscription. After that, a pop-up window will display by asking you to choose why you decided to delete your Epic Games account.

Step 6 – After appearing a pop-up window intended for answering why you want to delete your Epic Games account you should choose the option which best suits your experience from the drop-down menu, and then press CONTINUE.

Step 7 – Next an “Account Deletion Request Sent” pop-up window displays, where you should confirm your submission for deletion of your account.

Step 8 – When you confirm your submission after 15 seconds, you will be automatically logged out and your account will be disabled, but be wary that it gets permanently deleted after 14 days.

How to disable Epic Games account temporarily?

After some time disabling the account you can always choose to re-enable your Epic Games account if you decide to play again later.

• Note 1: If you disable your Epic Games account, you would not be able to use any kind of Epic Games products or services.
• Note 2: Your disabled Epic Games account will remain connected to third-party platform accounts (GitHub, Nintendo, PlayStation Network, Twitch, or Xbox).
• Note 3: If you have any kind of platform account connected to the Epic Games account and if you decide to disable them, or want to connect those platform accounts to a different Epic account, then you need to disconnect those platform accounts from your Epic Games account.

If you want to temporarily disable your account, you should follow the steps below to contact the official web page with your request.

Step 1 – At first you should press the button - CONTACT US.

Step 2 – Then you need to complete the CONTACT US form, which includes the following: Select Update Epic Games Account and choose the section which enables you to temporarily disable your Epic Games Account.

Step 3 – Next, you must press the SUBMIT button to send your request.

Step 4 – Once the web page will receive information about your request, it will verify the details and provide additional confirmation.

How to change the email address on your Epic Games account

To change the email address on your Epic Games account, you should follow the given steps:

Step 1 – The first thing you should do is to log into your Epic account. You must do it on the GENERAL SETTINGS page, which you can find by logging in. There you should see the GENERAL SETTINGS page which allows login.

Step 2 – Then you need to scroll down to the ACCOUNT INFO section and then press on the blue edit button located to the right side of your email address. After which a Change Account Email pop-up window displays. Then you should enter your NEW EMAIL ADDRESS inscription.

Note: You need to enter an email address that is not in use on another Epic Games account. But if you enter an email address that is already in use on another Epic Games account, you will get an error message that says: “YOU ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT, PLEASE SIGN IN”.

Step 5 – Click “CONFIRM”. After that, a security code will be sent to your active email address. Then, there appears a Security Code pop-up window. You should not close this window. Then in your email inbox, locate the scented code and press it into the SECURITY CODE field.

Step 7 – Then you need to press CONTINUE. After which an automated email with a verification link will be sent to the new email address on the account, and there will appear a pop-up window asking: “Verify Your Email Address”.

Step 8 – Then in your new email inbox, locate the verification email, and click “VERIFY YOUR EMAIL”. By following all those steps correctly you will successfully change your email.
